Apply for $2000 Mesothelioma (Cancer) Scholarship 2019
Danziger & De Llano, LLP. is now offering qualifying college students the chance to win a $2000 Mesothelioma Cancer scholarship 2019 for detailing their personal experiences either living with cancer or watching a loved one battle cancer. We hope to offer this financial assistance to help one deserving student meet his or her academic goals. Students applying for this scholarship must be enrolled at a two-year, four-year, community, or junior college, or in a graduate degree program on a full time basis. All college students in the United States are eligible, but must be in good academic standing at their institution with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Also qualifying are high school and gap-year students planning on attending any of the programs mentioned above.
Scholarship Offered for Those Affected by Cancer
Facing a personal battle with pleura mesothelioma or another type of cancer or watching a friend or family member face this battle can be quite difficult. It has the potential to change your entire outlook on life and even your future plans. If you are someone who has been affected by this disease, you may qualify for a college scholarship of $2000 simply by putting your personal experiences into words. This scholarship is given in order to help students in need with achieving their educational goals.
Who is eligible for Mesothelioma Cancer scholarship 2019?
In order to be eligible you need to be a college student and also either personally had a cancer diagnosis or had a family member or someone close to you receive a diagnoses and battle this disease. The financial award is not limited to only those affected by mesothelioma. In addition, you must have enrolled full-time in a two-year, four-year, community, or junior college within the United States. Students enrolled in graduate degree programs on a full-time basis are also welcome to apply if they meet the aforementioned qualifications. Academics, demonstrated financial need, positive life outlook, having strength during a hardship, and devotion to helping others are heavily weighted in the selection process. You must carry a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher and be in good standing with your current educational institution. Those who will be graduating from high school this spring or who are gap-year students are also eligible to submit their application.
The biggest portion of the application is a 500 to 800-word essay. This detailed essay should explain in depth your personal experiences with cancer. In this essay, tell us your own story as to how this disease has affected and changed your life. We are also interested in how you have overcome adversity, how it has helped in forming your goals and vision for the future, and how it may have changed your entire life outlook. We would also like you to explain why this financial award is of importance to you. Along with your essay, please include the following information and documentation:

- School you plan to attend in the fall of 2019
- Official letter from your education institution proving your full-time enrollment
- Current academic transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation that explain why you are a good candidate for this award
- A small summary of any volunteer work you have been involved in as well as any honors or awards you have received.
Applications are currently being accepted for next fall semester and must be submitted by August 15, 2019. Only one scholarship will be awarded in September of 2019.

We will give the award to the student we feel most exemplifies strength in the face of hardship, a positive outlook on life, and devotion to helping others. We are also looking for the student that meets all these criteria and is dedicated to academics but has a financial need.
